Description

Call this method to prepare a printout, if you need to know in advance the number of pages that comprises the printout, or the page dimensions.

Once a printout is prepared, the internal state of the TPlusMemoPrinter component is preserved until the content of MemoToPrint changes, thus PageCount, PageWidth and PageHeight are valid until that time.  Preview and Print methods internally call FormatPrint, so those properties are also after a printout or a preview is done, as long as content of MemoToPrint does not change.

Calling FormatPrint while the internal state of the TPlusMemoPrinter correctly represents the current printout to do does not incur any unnecessary processing.

An OnFormatPrint event is triggered every time FormatPrint does an actual printout preparation.
